It’s amazing the impact a little rain can have on the Las Vegas valley.


As of yet, I have not seen one of the legendary Las Vegas flash floods.  This was barely more than a steady drizzle

Fun!  But it really didn’t last long.  There’s little evidence remaining of the west coast hurricane system here in the city (although part of interstate 15 was washed away not far from here).  I was hoping it would wash away all the litter, but this was not the case.

But cooler temperatures are on the way!  And that, I can look forward to.  As well as employment.  It’s looking like a combination of on-call jobs, both as a poker dealer and banquet waiter — for now.
