Things have been crazy-busy here in Las Vegas! I’ll have one last 5-day workweek before shoving off for Blythe and Quartzsite. All of my “spare time” the past few weeks has been consumed with my business launch and errands.
I spent a good portion of my one day off yesterday downloading Windows 10 at a couple coffee shops on Fremont Street. After I hired my first staff member for my March event, I went to work on my New Year’s Resolutions. Much of 2016 will be about fitness, home improvement, and organization. The biggest resolution is to pay off all my current debt.
But another one that’s very important to me is setting aside time to just have FUN. I’ve already implemented my One-Day Fun-Day where, once per month, I’m not allowed to do anything work-related or constructive. But that’s not enough. I’m going to make an effort to schedule more fun activities throughout each week.
That shouldn’t be a problem in Las Vegas. And it certainly won’t be that difficult anytime I’m on the road. But I simply have to schedule these activities, or I get wrapped up in my projects. For instance, this week I’m taking advantage of 3 different food comps at downtown casinos. I have a couple days on my trip that I’m going to focus on the NFL Playoffs. A day trip to Yuma is already on the books…
I believe 2016 is going to be fantastic! I hope yours is, too.
