It appears I’ll be leaving for Vegas around May 20th.  I’ve debated whether or not to take 48 Ugly* or not.  The RV parks are not optimally placed to The Rio and I really didn’t want to backtrack this soon on The Ultimate Journey.  It seems monthly apartments in Vegas have skyrocketed, however, and taking my rig may be my best bet.

I have concerns with my new job with Jesco.  Down in Tuscon, my sales got better each day, but I”m still only about 60% of where I need to be to make what I consider to be a reasonable hourly rate.  They take the training wheels off next week — straight commission.  It appears I’ll have one-and-a-half days off between my two jobs mid-week for the first time this month, so hopefully a little rejuvenation will increase my sales.

I really want this to work.  The great thing about them is that when I’m going to Vegas, for instance, my director is already to “get me a store” up there.  Pretty cool.  But I need to determine if I can make it worthwhile here in the next few weeks…

Jeepers has been getting along well at the sitter’s.  She puts him outside now where he can see the hummingbirds.  He doesn’t get to see hummingbirds here — it seems hummingbirds want nothing to do with The Ramblin’ RiverCat.

Well it’s off to work again!  A weekend at the poker club and then a brief break.

There are choices and trade-offs to most situations. My preference would to always take my home with me if possible. But, of course you will decide what works best for you. My house is finally gone, and I’m now living in the rig full-time. I’m still in the honeymoon stage of a newbie, so my opinion may be slanted. Hope the jobs work out as you intended.

Yeah the RV parks are quite a ways from where I’d be working. However, the monthly apartments have skyrocketed so it appears 48 Ugly will be in commission!

    Congrats on the FT transition!
