Today’s my first official day on the schedule at the cardroom I’ll be dealing* at (even though I’ve already worked quite a few shifts).  I may work  my first shift with the tour company in about two weeks…

I’ve pretty much become a consultant for the tour company — one of those consultants that work for free.  We’re a crew of 3 now, and the owner couldn’t be luckier to have two individuals that really want to see this succeed.  In fact, as I’m working mostly on research and giving input on our marketing materials, she’s working on tweaking the route a bit and doing the networking with some local organizations.  Next week we’ll ride the entire route again to get our timing down for our scripts and hopefully find some more interesting material.

I’ll also be visiting some of our stops on my own time.  I’ll be submitting posts on these little adventures, of course!  In fact, now that the weather is getting nice here, you should see my posts become more and more frequent, again…
